Dr. Enikő Balogh

I completed my studies at the Faculty of Dentistry, Semmelweis University.

In 2018, I graduated from Semmelweis University with a degree in dentistry, summa cum laude. During my university years, although I found beauty and value in every dental specialty, my interest in orthodontics grew stronger. In the same year I obtained my diploma, I began my residency at the Institute of Dental and Oral Surgery at Semmelweis University. Over the years, I have had many opportunities to learn from the best, for which I owe great gratitude to my tutor, Chief Physician Dr. János Horváth. I have participated in numerous national and international conferences, such as the Dental Summit in Prague (2018), BCN Ortho Congress in Barcelona (2019), and the GET Symposium in Rome (2021). I am a member of the European Orthodontic Society, the European Aligner Society, and the Hungarian Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Orthopedics and Orthodontics. I have published on the topic of digital orthodontics, and in 2019 I gave a lecture at the VIII Tóth Pál Meeting in Siklós, also at the MFE Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics Symposium.

As a fresh graduate, alongside my residency training, I worked at DentálKópé, a pediatric dental clinic, where I “fought against cavity elves.” Although my professional practice has since focused primarily on orthodontics, I continue to treat children as well. Treating children is always a challenge, and my primary goal in pediatric dentistry is to help them enjoy visiting the dentist, become enthusiastic about toothbrushing, and understand the reasons and importance of oral hygiene even during their primary dentition—so that once they have their permanent teeth, they consciously care for them, attend regular check-ups, and grow into confident adults who can set a positive example for the next generation. After all, good oral hygiene and regular visits are also the foundation of successful orthodontic treatment.

I enjoy complex treatments and believe in the success of teamwork. Orthodontics is my vocation—creating smiles for a lifetime.
